We have three great EARTHSHAKERS groups where children can learn, grow and have fun!
These are:
Each session lasts roughly 45 – 50 minutes and contains a mixture of stories from the bible, discussion, games, drama, art & craft, prayer, structured & free play (depending on the age group), praise & worship
We use material from the Urban Saints Energize Teaching Programme, which provides a great framework and curriculum for kids to learn. Each age group has a consistent team of great leaders who build and develop relationships with our kids. One leader and at least one helper or parent leads each session. All leaders and helpers are DBS checked. (See our safeguarding policy)

Our bi-monthly gathering – a buzzing night of fun, games, music, food and stories. This is a great place for everyone to invite their friends, have a simple meal together and have lots of fun! Keep your eyes open on our ‘Latest News’ section of the homepage for our next Friday Night Takeaway event.
During some of the school holidays our team open the doors of the Ashwood Centre for some fun packed mornings! Each time we have a different theme which help us explore different aspects of life with a positive message or story from the Bible. Woody the Ashwood Bear often comes to bring some cheeky fun! All the kids get put into teams for the sessions with our wonderful team leaders and we have a great time singing, dancing, eating, playing games, watching videos, chatting and praying - it really is a great time!

Tuesday and Friday mornings (term time only) are two of our favourite times of the week because it’s Seesaw!
Seesaw is our busy thriving toddler group for all the little ones and the adults who bring them! The Ashwood Centre becomes a place of play, fun and conversation! We regularly have over 50 children with their parents, grandparents or carers – if you’ve never been you can only imagine what that looks like! During the morning there is lots to do including craft activities, a story time, snack time and we end with singing time where the children can grab instruments and join in. Our fantastic “Soft Play” room is also open for most of the morning. Seesaw is a free of charge playgroup for pre-school children, however people who come love to pop a donation into our “friendly piggy box” which goes towards the costs of refreshments, craft materials and general running costs.
We love meeting new children and parent/carers – you will receive a very warm welcome when you arrive. Seesaw runs through the kindness and dedication of a small volunteer team.
