Ashwood Church was described during 2005 as radically relational, unashamedly charismatic and passionately mission focused. In order that these statements remained true, there was a requirement for change. As a Church we recognised the need to develop as disciples and to find ways of creating spaces where our friends could come under the Jesus influence. We began to see the way to achieve the changes, was to develop what is now called “Expressions of Ashwood Church”.
Ravenshead Afternoon Tea
A time for the older members of the community to meet up once a month on a Sunday from 4.00pm at Ravenshead Village Hall.
Cafe MOSAIC
Cafe Mosaic is a Sunday evening event which takes place around 4 times per year. It is a time to enjoy fantastic coffees and cakes/muffins, spend time with friends and also give an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in an atmosphere of music and relaxation.
Connect
Connect is Ashwood’s expression for families in our community. It takes place at 4.00pm in the Ashwood Centre on four Sunday’s in the year. Dates can be obtained from the calendar. It is a time to have fun and learn more about God, praise and worship appropriate for families to enjoy and get involved and the meeting ends with an early evening tea.
