Children's zones
We cater for three children’s age groups during Sunday morning meetings.
These are:
| Minizone | Ages 0 – 4s |
| Kidzone | Ages 5 – 7s |
| Y-zone | Ages 8 – 11s |
The sessions last roughly 45 – 50 minutes and contain a combination of some of the following, depending on the age-group:
- Bible story
- discussion, games
- drama
- art & craft
- prayer
- structured & free play
- praise & worship
At present we follow the Children’s Ministry material for each of the three age groups. Each age group has a team of 4 leaders who work on a 1 in 4 – week rota. One leader and at least one helper or parent leads each session.
Timeout
Every first Sunday in the month our children have a different style of meeting when the adults are enjoying listening to the morning preach. It is a time when the kids can worship, pray, preach and teach together….they get involved, it is all about them and God. It has been going really well and we are seeing the children grow in their confidence and relationship with God.
Wildlife
As part of our community outreach with children, we run a one hour programme on a Friday evening from 6.00pm – 7.00pm which is action packed and crazy – having a wild life for God! It is a great evening with many of our children from Church bringing their friends along. For more information contact Kirsty Bell.
